Cambridge Search is the “Official” Career Transition Advisor to the WNBPA
New York, NY July 19, 2006- Cambridge Search and the Women’s National Basketball Players Association (“WNBPA”) announced today that they have entered into a partnership whereby Cambridge Search will be the official career transition advisor to the WNBPA and it’s members. Cambridge Search will provide WNBA players seeking advice regarding employment placement and career transition issues with an array of services including career counseling and job placement assistance.
Cambridge Search’s service will be available to assist current and former WNBA players in the pursuit of employment opportunities after their WNBA careers have ended. Cambridge Search will perform a valuable function for WNBA players making the transition from professional basketball into the workforce. Cambridge Search specialties include career assessment, counseling, resume preparation, aptitude testing and interview preparedness training in guiding clients to an appropriate career placement.
Cambridge Search’s mission is to offer their clients a value added service in the recruitment and placement of candidates in the fields of Information Technology, Sales, and Marketing throughout the country. Cambridge Search maintains relationship with a number of Fortune 500 and blue chip corporations including Microsoft, Intel, Wells Fargo, Hershey, and Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
The universe of candidates includes players that have been drafted but failed to make rosters, players who have finished their WNBA careers and seek further employment, and players looking for career opportunities in the off-season.

DJ Dozier Joins the Cambridge Search Team
DJ Dozier brings a unique angle of sports and business expertise to Cambridge Seachs,
LLC through his experience as a NFL Player, MLB Player and NFL Contract Advisor.
Mr. Dozier is responsible for development and management of all aspects of Cambridge
Searchs. This includes the organizational policies, objectives and sales strategies.
He also consults on the firm's contractual agreements, sponsorships and special
projects.
DJ Dozier
BackgroundDJ graduated from Kempsville High School (Virginia Beach, Virginia) in 1983. As a star athlete in both football and baseball, he was selected as the Hertz #1 Award recipient for the Best Athlete in Virginia. He also was honored as the Parade All-American Running Back and after his senior year was drafted by the Detroit Tigers as an outfielder. Mr. Dozier passed on the baseball draft and instead attended Penn State University where he eventually became the first running back in history to lead the team in rushing four consecutive years. After setting numerous records as a freshman, DJ was selected as an All-American his sophomore year before hitting the pinnacle of college football his senior year by winning the National Championship in 1986 versus Miami. He then went on to become the MVP of the Fiesta Bowl and was again selected as an All-American as he rounded out his college career with just under 4,000 total yards and a degree in Sports Management. The Minnesota Vikings were so impressed with DJ's ability they selected him in the 1st round (12th pick) of the NFL Draft in 1987. He played four years with the Vikings and a year with the Detroit Lions while also managing to squeeze in a professional baseball career on the side as he signed as an amateur free agent in 1990 with the New York Mets. He spent 1990 and 1991 in the minor leagues, where he showed good speed (he stole 33 bases with St. Lucie in 1990) and also good pop (in 1990, he hit 13 home runs with St. Lucie). In 1991 he was number 44 on Baseball America's 1991 All-Time Top 100 prospects list. After spending some time in the minors in 1992, he was called up to the Major Leagues and made his debut on May 6, 1992 at the age of 26. DJ wore number 7 and played leftfield for the Mets along with fellow teammates Eddie Murray, Bobby Bonilla, Dwight Gooden, David Cone and Bret Saberhagen. On October 26, 1992, DJ was traded with catcher Raul Casanova and pitcher Wally Whitehurst for shortstop Tony Fernandez and decided to hang up his spikes later that off-season. After retiring from the NFL and Major League Baseball, DJ spent two seasons coaching High School baseball in Virginia Beach before settling into the financial services industry where he spent the next fifteen years specializing in Commercial Real Estate and Venture Capital Projects. Mr. Dozier also ran the marketing and budgeting division of the Woodward Sports Complex and is a Certified NFL Contract Advisor.
Cambridge buys new Headquarters building in Schnecksville P.A. for the Cambridge Search LLC, Cambridge Medical Staffing Inc, and the newest addition Cambridge Sports LLC companies
The Cambridge Companies will be moving to brand new digs in the early fall of 2006. The brand new building which is located at 4155 Independence Way Schnecksville PA. The Company that was started in Allentown in 2000 has outgrown its space and needed to find a place that could house all three companies comfortably. The new 8200 square foot facility will do just that said, Cambridge president Kurt Wenger. "We are proud of our beginnings in Allentown and extremely excited about our future in Schnecksville/North Whitehall"
Our companies have been working for over 6 years in separate facilities and the thought of everyone being under one roof just thrills me.
“Cambridge Search and Cambridge Medical staffing have enjoyed phenomenal growth since both were started. That is a tribute to all of our people. We made things work although being cross town from each other and the purchase of this building will give us a more streamline operation”, Wenger added.
The companies will be located just outside Allentown approximately 3 miles north of the city and Route 22 on Route 309.
